BREAK AND ENTER UPDATES

 

1) SS25010476 - December 27th 2025 - Police are looking for witnesses who may be able to assist with a residential break and enter that occurred on Hillcrest Drive in the Town of Port Elgin while the homeowner was present. If you have any information that could assist police in identifying those responsible please contact Saugeen Shores Police Service at 519-832-2500.

 

2) SS26001052 - February 11th 2026 - Police are looking for witnesses who may be able to assist with a Break and Enter to a local Barber Shop in Southampton. The shop was broken into during the night of February 10th/11th. The suspects stole property from within the store. If you have any information that could assist police in identifying those responsible please contact Saugeen Shores Police Service at 519-832-2500.

 

3) SS26001359 - February 22nd 2026 - Police are looking for witnesses who may be able to assist with a residential break and enter that occurred in the 50-60 block of Westgate drive in the Town of Port Elgin. The break and enter is believed to have occurred on February 19th 2026 at approximately 6:40pm. The suspects stole personal property from within the home. 4) SS26001404 - February 24th 2026 - Police are looking for witnesses who may be able to assist with a residential break and enter that occurred in the 100 block of Bricker Street in the Town of Port Elgin. The break and enter is believed to have occurred between January 9th and February 24th 2026. Extensive damage was done to the interior of the home. 5) SS26001421 - February 25th 2026 - Police are looking for witnesses who may be able to assist with a residential break and enter that occurred on Concession 8 in the Town of Saugeen Shores. If you have any information that could assist police in identifying those responsible please contact Saugeen Shores Police Service at 519-832-2500.

 

- In some cases DNA was located at the scene by our Scenes of Crime Officers and has been sent for analysis-
