SAUGEEN SHORES POLICE – MEDIA RELEASE

Saugeen Shores – On April 25th 2025 Saugeen Shores Police responded to a report of an Indecent Act which occurred at a school within Saugeen Shores. During the incident a male approached a fenced in area of a school yard and initiated conversation with students on the school property. During this incident the male exposed his genitals and began to touch himself. The male then fled the area.
A detailed investigation began and the male was identified by investigators. As a result of this investigation a 27-year-old male of Saugeen Shores has been arrested and charged with the following offences:
- Indecent Exposure to a Person Under 16 years of age x 3
- Sexual Assault on a Person Under 16 years of age x 3
- Failure to Comply with Probation Order
The male was held in custody for a Bail Hearing on April 26th 2025 and was subsequently released on a Release Order with conditions and a future court date.
Due to a Publication Ban no further information will be released at this time.

Saugeen Shores – On April 26th 2025 Saugeen Shores Police took a report in relation to an Assault that had occurred on April 25th 2025. In this incident a 32-year-old man used the social media platform Snapchat to connect with a minor and begin conversation. The male then picked the female and her friend up in his vehicle and they attended the City of Owen Sound to pick up a fourth person known to the girls.
The vehicle then returned to a parking lot in Saugeen Shores where the accused provided alcohol to the occupants in the vehicle before continuing to the accused’s residence. During the course of the evening the Accused kissed and touched the victim in a sexual manner.
As a result of this investigation a 32-year-old man of Saugeen Shores is charged with the following offences:
- Luring a Person Under 16 years by means of telecommunication
- Sexual Assault on a Person Under 16 years
- Sexual Interference
- Knowingly Supplying Liquor to a Person Under 19 years
The male was released on an Undertaking with conditions and a future court date.
