Robbery Arrest Warrant Executed

Media Release – Arrest Warrant Executed

On June 7^th, 2019 the Saugeen Shores Police Service investigated robbery at an address in Port Elgin.  A 30 year old Grey County man was arrested a short time later and held for a bail hearing.  Another man was not located and an arrest warrant was issued.

On June 24^th the Saugeen Shores Police Service received information that the man, wanted on the warrant, was at an address on Bricker Street in Port Elgin.  Officers attended the address and located the man.  He was placed under arrest and transported to Walkerton Court for a bail hearing.

A 27 year old Grey County man has been charged with:

1. Robbery with a weapon
2. Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
3. Assault with a weapon
4. Fail to comply with a probation order
