Three Individuals Arrested for Bail Violations
Media Release – Three Persons Arrested for Violating Conditions
On Wednesday, May 8th, 2019 members of the Saugeen Shores Police Criminal Investigations and Drug Branch along with uniformed members investigated three persons in separate incidents concerning the violation of release conditions.
The three individuals are currently before the courts on several outstanding charges from multiple occurrences. The outstanding charges related to drug offences, property crimes and failing to comply with release conditions.
A 36 year old female of no fixed address has been charged with:
- Fail to appear for identification – fingerprints and photograph
- Fail to comply with an undertaking given to an officer in charge – fail to report to police station
- Fail to comply with an undertaking given to an officer in charge – contact with a prohibited person
- Fail to comply with a recognizance of bail – contact with a prohibited person
A 28 year old male of no fixed address has been charged with:
- Fail to appear for identification – fingerprints and photograph
- Fail to comply with a recognizance of bail – fail to report to police station
- Fail to attend court - Bench warrant of arrest executed
A 36 year old Port Elgin male has been charged with:
- Fail to comply with a recognizance of bail x2 – contact with a prohibited person
All three individuals were held for a bail hearing.
